On Monday 05.10.2015, Antipollution SA was asked to provide marine environmental protection services by Hellenic Seaways, for and on behalf of the vessel “Apollo Hellas”. The ship was docked at the new port of Drapetsona for repairs, when a fire broke out in the engine room and there was a risk to the marine environment.

Our company with its experienced and specialized staff responded immediately and made the necessary arrangements, applying all safety measures. Since there was no pollution, ANTIPOLLUTION SA in cooperation with the shipping company, remained on site on a 24 hour alert to meet any possible needs of the ship.
