Our Facilities
Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) & Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) Production
Antipollution operates a state-of-the-art RDF/SRF Production Facility located southwest of Athens, where we manage port and vessel waste, as well as commercial and industrial (C&I) waste. Our SRF production facility is designed with a storage area, production area, and a fully equipped laboratory. We are committed to further optimizing and modernizing the operation, increasing RDF production, and enhancing efficiency. This is achieved through the purchase of advanced equipment, specifically chosen to match the types and sources of input materials, allowing for greater flexibility and throughput capacity.
In addition, Antipollution operates a cutting-edge hazardous waste processing unit for producing alternative fuel and raw materials. Spanning 3,300 m², this facility can process up to 30,000 tons of hazardous waste. The innovative design makes it one of the most modern and competitive waste management units in Southeast Europe. An adjacent section of the facility is dedicated to the reception and storage of hazardous waste.
Equipped with advanced technology and staffed by experts with extensive knowledge in waste management and environmental protection, our unit is a critical asset for waste management projects both in Greece and internationally.
The facility supports an integrated waste management scheme, ensuring the application of the best available techniques for waste treatment, utilization, and recovery. Our focus is on reducing carbon dioxide emissions by replacing conventional fuels with alternative options and extending landfill life expectancy.
