As part of the implementation of Helmepa’s #TeamSeas action, the coastal clean-up of SEF – Peace and Friendship Stadium took place with the participation of 124 high school volunteer students where 462kg of waste was collected, transported and processed.
Antipollution SA (member of HELMEPA), after registering the collected waste, undertook the voluntary collection and waste processing in an environmentally sound way, remaining loyal to the side of young people and to HELMEPA’s mission for healthy and clean seas and coasts.
At the same time, the young students had the opportunity to watch underwater cleaning by volunteer divers (freediving) of MEPP, finding out that chairs, umbrellas, car tires and plastic objects are also hidden along with the treasures of the sea.
Thus began the period of cleansing.
With young people, for young people.
