Antipollution SA supported the 12th annual conference of the European Sea Ports Organization (ESPO) 2015, the central theme of which was “Without Ports we Have No Energy, Without Energy we Have No Ports”. The Conference was held for the first time in Greece and took place between the 20th and 22nd of May 2015, at the Athens Ledra hotel, with the participation of all major ports of Europe and representatives of the port industry.

Prominent personalities for the European ports industry, MEP’s, officials from the European Commission, UN representatives and representatives from universities and institutions of the global shipping industry delivered interesting speeches at the two day conference, which was divided into four sections.

During the first part of the conference, the President of ESPO, Santiago Garcia-Mila, the Mayor of Piraeus, Yiannis Moralis, and the President of the Association of Greek Ports, George Anomeritis, delivered introductory and welcoming speeches.
