Antipollution supported the international conference on “Ports, Maritime Transport and Insularity”

Antipollution supported the International Conference on Ports, Maritime Transport and Insularity, which took place on 10 and 11 March 2016 at the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in Piraeus, Greece. The conference was organized by Aegean Energy Agency and the Hellenic Institute of Transport of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), in joint collaboration with the Network of Sustainable Aegean and Ionian Islands (DAFNI), under the auspices of the Municipality of Piraeus. Speakers from around Europe, stressed the importance of ports and shipping in the formulation of a development strategy in the European and Mediterranean area, through the adoption of green technologies and policies in the context of sustainable development and exchanged knowledge and good practices.
