Chairman Vyron Vasileiadis Meets with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs

In the context of the official visit of His Excellency Sameh Shoukry, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt and his meeting with his counterpart, His Excellency Giorgos Gerapetritis, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Chairman Vyron Vasileiadis had the opportunity to engage with the Egyptian Minister.

This meeting provided an invaluable platform to discuss the ongoing activities of Antipollution Egypt and the forthcoming official inauguration of its operations.

Vyron Vasileiadis took the occasion to underscore the significant environmental orientation of the newly established company, reaffirming its dedication to the principles of sustainable development, achieving a zero-carbon footprint and reducing pollutants. He reiterated that this initiative is a pivotal component of the Suez Canal’s overarching strategy for green development.

Within this framework, Mr. Vasileiadis extolled the exemplary leadership and pivotal role of Admiral Osama Rabie, the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, in advancing this noble cause.
