Antipollution’s volunteer team participated in the cleaning of Elefsina’s coastal front, responding this way to the invitation of the Central Port Authority of Elefsina for action, in order to protect the marine environment and raise awareness of the local community. The action was part of the International Coastal Cleanup 2021 coordinated for Greece by HELMEPA – Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association

The employees of Antipollution and V Group, together with their families, cleaned a shore on the coastal front, while the waste collected, mainly plastic, was loaded on a company vehicle and transported to V Group’s facilities for sorting and further processing.
