One of our many initiatives, in celebration of World Environmental Day 2022, was the beach cleaning and underwater cleaning of the Elefsina area. The event was organized by the Central Port Authority of Elefsina with the participation of the volunteer group from Antipollution and the V Group. The initiative brought together the local student body and numerous volunteer groups and organizations to raise awareness of the detrimental effects of marine pollution. Antipollution offered all participants the necessary means to clean the beaches effectively, then proceeded to collect all the accumulated waste and lastly, using specialized vehicles transported it to the Group’s waste management facilities.

It was a great opportunity for all of us to contribute, inform and raise the awareness of our civil society, as well as to promote the Group’s unwavering values for respecting and protecting the marine environment.
