As part of its contractual obligations of ANTIPOLLUTION ANE encountered in co-operation with the Port Authority of Igoumenitsa the pollution incident of oil spill which occurred during a tanker’s truck collision with catapult ship in pier of Igoumenitsa.
During the accident, took place leakage estimated in the amount of 500 l oil. Pollution at pier handled directly by the Agency using sand and the experienced personnel of our company collected the contaminated sand in suitable containers certified. Afterwards, waste was driven to legal licensed unit in order to be collected for disposal in appropriate environmental way
