Antipollution SA took over the Salvage and Removal of “Panagia Tinou” wreck from the port of Piraeus

Antipollution SA, the leading Greek company in the management of Ship Generated Solid Waste , in the context of an open competition conducted by Piraeus Port Authority SA (PPA SA) took over the Refloating and Removal of “Panagia Tinou” wreck from the port of Piraeus.
Antipollution SA has successfully completed, in full accordance to the strict contractual schedule, the refloating of the vessel which consisted the first phase of the project, thanks to the high level of specialization and experience the company has in environmental issues, as well as to the sensitivity for the environment and combatting marine pollution.Currently second phase of the project is in progress and soon will be completed upon the issuance of Trans Frontier Shipping license by the competent Authorities, as per the requirements of Basel Convention.
