Chairman Vyron Vasileiadis Meets with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs

In the context of the official visit of His Excellency Sameh Shoukry, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt and his meeting with his counterpart, His Excellency Giorgos Gerapetritis, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Chairman Vyron Vasileiadis had the opportunity to engage with the Egyptian Minister.

This meeting provided an invaluable platform to discuss the ongoing activities of Antipollution Egypt and the forthcoming official inauguration of its operations.

Vyron Vasileiadis took the occasion to underscore the significant environmental orientation of the newly established company, reaffirming its dedication to the principles of sustainable development, achieving a zero-carbon footprint and reducing pollutants. He reiterated that this initiative is a pivotal component of the Suez Canal’s overarching strategy for green development.

Within this framework, Mr. Vasileiadis extolled the exemplary leadership and pivotal role of Admiral Osama Rabie, the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, in advancing this noble cause. He confirmed the outstanding cooperation and the spirit of teamwork that have been instrumental to this endeavor.

His Excellency Minister Shoukry conveyed his profound satisfaction with the progress of the operations. He emphasized the enduring and robust ties between the two nations, which trace their origins back through the annals of history and continue to be strong in contemporary times.

Furthermore, Minister Shoukry proposed to Chairman Vyron Vasileiadis to attend the upcoming congress titled “Unlocking Egypt’s Advantages in a Fast-Changing World.” And Antipollution Egypt be showcased as a success story of sustainable development, highlighting its achievements and contributions to environmental preservation and economic growth.

Also in attendance at this significant meeting was His Excellency Omar Amer Youssef, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Hellenic Republic. Ambassador Youssef’s crucial role in orchestrating the coordination of this meeting was acknowledged, as was his unwavering support for Antipollution Egypt.
